THE 6TH WORLD CONGRESS ON TATTOO AND PIGMENT RESEARCH (WCTP2023)
welcomes you to Vienna, Austria , May 24-26 2023!

We are proud to announce the 6th international congress organized by the European Society of Tattoo and Pigment Research (ESTP) since the inauguration in 2013. This year's conference will be held at the conference rooms of the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO). 
The target audiences of the WCTP (formerly ECTP) conferences are not only researchers, but attract also tattoo practitioners (decorative tattooists and PMU artists), the tattoo ink and -machine industry, representatives of national and regional authorities and everyone with any special interest in tattoos. This broad audience makes WCTP conferences a unique environment of knowledge exchange, insights, sharing of experiences, novelty, fuel to the mind and also friendships. 
We invite everyone, who wishes to be on the pulse of the latest developments in the field of tattoo and pigment research, to join our next conference and get part of our globally growing society. 

The main themes of the WCTP2023 will be:

• Tattooing after REACH: How does the new European restriction impact practice. Covering market adherence, artists & industries experiences, researchers view, chemical analytics
• Medical & clinical research. Covering anesthetic creams, allergy and research on other side effects of tattooing
• Chemical analytics and basic tattooing research. Exposure of tattoo ink ingredients, 3D skin models

But will also cover

• Epidemiology, clinical research and tattoo complications addressing tattoo allergy, potential carcinogenicity and other topics
• The many faces and aspects of tattooing: breast reconstruction, permanent make-up

NEW - Tattoo & PMU Artist Educational Workshop:

• Half day workshop and education on tattoo hygiene, legal aspects, aftercare and short-term dermal complications with active participation of tattooists, PMU-artists and specialized dermatologists.
